Is it possible to fit 2 straight Stair Lifts on our staircase?

  Yes, it is often more cost effective to install 2 stair lifts on a staircase with a landing, provided the user is able to transfer from one seat into the other and the landing is big enough. This saves a lot off money compared to a custom curved stairlift, also resale value is higher.

Is there a Stair Lift that fits my staircase?

  We can fit a stair lift on almost any staircase configuration. For a curved stair lift you need a minimum width off at least 30"

  A straight chairlift can be fitted as narrow as 26" for a perch model.

What kind of warranty is included with the stair Lifts?

> The Acorn stair lifts have a 12 month warranty, and a lifetime  warranty on the motor and gearbox.

> The Savaria stair lifts have a 30 month warranty, must be maintained and serviced by a certified technician every 6 months.

> The Sterling Stair lifts have a 24 month all inclusive warranty, no visits required.

> East Coast Stair Lifts does not charge a trip fee or service fee for problems that are covered by the warranty.

Does East Coast Stair Lift offer an extended warranty?

Yes, please call for more information. We have Service and Maintenance agreements or an Extended Factory Warranty for total peace of mind, available for 3 and 5 years.

What is the delivery/installation time of your stairlifts?

We strive to install the stair lifts as fast as possible, the Acorn can be installed within 1 to 3 days if in stock for a standard unit, the Sterling stair lifts usually within 1 week to 10 days ( the color of upholstery and other options can be chosen at time of ordering), the Savaria stair lifts about 10 working days. We can give an accurate delivery/installation time when you order.
